What Payment Options Do You Accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa and MasterCard but excluding American Express. We also accept PayPal, cheque and wire transfer.

Do You Charge Sales Tax?

Orders shipped to Canada are taxed based on the applicable province rates. AM Studio does not charge U.S. State sales tax if your Tax I.D is provided. Orders shipping to California will be subject to the relevant sales tax.

AM Studio is not accountable for individual states’ sales tax reporting laws pertaining to online purchases, therefore we encourage you to check your state’s regulations before you shop.

In addition, you may be charged a Customs Duties Taxes which is handled by UPS or FedEX.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancelations are only applicable within 48 hours of purchase as our lighting is made to order. After 48 hours, your order is processed and cannot be canceled.

How can I check the status of my order?

After placing your order with AM Studio, you will receive an email message confirming receipt of your order. 

Do You Offer A Trade or Volume Discount?

We offer discounts to members of the trade such as designers, architects and contractors who have presented appropriate credentials and have been approved. Discount is provided through a code, which is redeemable during check out.

Are my credit card and other account information secure?

Yes. AM Studio’s secure software encrypts all your personal information including credit card number, name, address and phone number. Our software utilizes “Secure Socket Layer” or SSL technology used by other major retailers. AM Studio will never sell or lease your personal customer information.

Do you guarantee prices for any period of time?

Yes. As we strictly follow MAP policy, which stands for Minimum Advertised Price. MAP policies impose restrictions on the price at which a product may be advertised. This ensures that our pricing stays the same everywhere else.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

For fixtures shipped within Canada, the shipping is included within the price. For shipping outside of Canada, please see the total shipping charges identified on the checkout page when finalizing your order. For select fixtures, upgraded delivery options may be available for purchase during checkout.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes, we are working to support the shipment of more and more items every day from Canada, however, there are some product exclusions. For more information, contact customer support.

Will You Ship to My PO Box?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or Military APOs.

What If I Need to Ship To Multiple Addresses?

Please contact our Customer Service team and they will assist you with your specific needs.

What If I Need to Send a Message Regarding a Vacation-hold or "Do-not-ship before" Requirements?

Please contact our customer service team immediately upon order placement, so that we can assist you with the appropriate arrangements.


What Is Your Return Policy?

We accept returns on our fixtures within 14 days after fixture delivery (when fixture is received). Fixture must be in new condition and original packaging for exchange to be valid.

How Much Time Do I Have to Inspect My Package For Damage?

It is critical that you inspect your order upon delivery. Orders delivered via a freight carrier specifically must be inspected upon delivery of the item. If you find any issues, please contact our Customer Service team immediately.

What If My Order Arrives Damaged?

If by some chance, your item was damaged during transit, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.


What Is The Lead Time?

For all our standard light fixtures our production lead times are approx. 4-5 weeks from receipt of payment in full. Expedited shipping is available with a surcharge. Time is relative to fixture size and style.

Are The Fixtures Dimmable?

Yes, all our LED fixtures are dimmable. Please note that LED bulbs themselves only dim to 50-60%. That is their dimming range. In addition, please make sure to purchase a dimming switch that is compatible with low voltage electronic transformers.

Yes, our long-life LED bulbs are included in the price.

Are Your Transformers Electronic Or Magnetic?


Do Your Transformers Hum Or Buzz?

Our transformer will not make a hum or buzz when paired with the right, compatible dimming switch. There is very low probability that your fixture will make a sound. Please contact customer service if that is the case.

My Lamps Keep Flickering On And Off, Why Is This Happening?

Ensure you are using AM Studio Compatible Bulbs and dimming switch with the transformer included. With LED bulbs, flickering is normal when dimmed to 50-60%. If flickering is happening at a low range, that is also normal. Please give it a few seconds to stop. Should the flickering persist irregularly, please contact our showroom for trouble shooting assistance.

Can I Hang The Fixtures On A Sloped Ceiling?

Yes, please make sure to specify the slope of your ceiling during checkout so we can customize the pendant configuration and design of your fixture for your ceiling type. Please contact customer service during after checkout.

Does My Fixture Come In Any Other Colours?

How Do I Clean My Light Fixture?

For all light fixtures, gently wipe with a lint free cloth

Can I Change My Existing LED Fixture To Be Halogen Compatible?

Yes, however bulbs are transformer specific, so will need to change both for the fixture to work.
